Review Of Flora Farms In Cabo, Mexico
Looking For Places To Eat At In Cabo, Mexico And Wondering If Flora Farms Is Worth Checking Out?
I’ve visited Cabo, Mexico a number of times, sometimes just because I want to eat at specific restaurants, and I’ve gone to the Flora Farms restaurant here a couple of times and had absolutely amazing meals, but below is a more detailed review so you can see if it sounds like it’s worth adding to your itinerary for your next trip down here.
🍕 Is Flora Farms Worth Visiting In Cabo, Mexico?

I 100% think that Flora Farms is worth visiting and eating at, and I would even say that it is my favorite restaurant in the Cabo area because of the food, the quality of the ingredients, and the atmosphere.
The Atmosphere

I love the outdoor style living in Cabo, Mexico and Flora Farms is one of those open air restaurants that has beautiful plants, flowers, and food growing everywhere.
They even do some monthly events where they might have a movie on the lawn, bring adoptable puppies for guests to take home with them, or give tours of the farm area.
The Quality

Like many restaurants in the Los Cabos area, Flora also follows a more organic, local, and farm to table style of eating.
You can see some of the farm area where they grow a lot of their ingredients, plus you can even purchase some of these produce items at their little market in the restaurant (pictured above).
The Food

I love a lot of the food at restaurants here in Cabo, Mexico, but Flora Farms takes the number one spot for me when it comes to taste and overall deliciousness.
I don’t usually eat gluten or dairy, but here at Flora I can’t avoid eating the pizza, pasta, and bread they serve, and fortunately it hasn’t bothered me once yet.
I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the food here, but my favorites have been the pizza (pictured below), the hand made paccheri bolognese (pictured above), and the chocolate cake (the best I’ve ever had), while others I’ve gone with love the catch of the day, the elote (pictured down below), the meatballs, the burrata, the caesar salad, and the cheesecake.

👎 The Downsides Of Flora Farms In Cabo, Mexico

Although I don’t think there is any reason that would make me not want to go to Flora Farms in Cabo (technically in San Jose del Cabo), these are a few reasons why others might not enjoy it as much as me:
- The Price – because they follow a more organic, local, and farm to table style, the food is more expensive here (but everything is expensive in Cabo)
- The Location – Flora Farms isn’t the easiest place to get to from Cabo San Lucas or even the hotel area of San Jose del Cabo; it’s up a hill that’s all dirt roads so it can be bumpy, and difficult/impossible to get to when it rains (Ubers here might not even go out there if it is raining)
- The Atmosphere – like a lot of restaurants in Cabo, they’re also an open air/outdoor restaurant so during the hot months of the year it can get pretty miserable out here (even at night); the flies can also be a nightmare, especially during fly season in July
- The Wait – if you don’t make a reservation (which I highly recommend) you could spend a long time waiting to get a table here
I agree that some of these things could be a bit annoying, but I still think Flora Farms is 100% worth visiting because the food is so amazing and the quality of the ingredients is great.
