After Messi arrived, the ticket price for Inter Miami games rose greatly, especially for away games.

Are Inter Miami Ticket Price Options Really That Ridiculous?

Do You Want To Go An Inter Miami Game To Watch Messi Play, But Aren’t Sure If Ticket Price Options Are Just Too Ridiculous Since His Arrival?

I had season tickets to Inter Miami before Messi arrived so I got to see firsthand the ticket price change once he got here, and although there are still some circumstances where prices can be absolutely ridiculous, there are a few ways you can watch Messi at Inter Miami without spending all of your savings.

⬅️ Inter Miami Ticket Price Before Messi

Before Messi it was pretty cheap.

Before Messi got to Inter Miami, ticket price options were super cheap and very reasonable. I had season tickets to Miami’s first open season in 2021 (since covid messed up their actual first season in 2020) and only spent about $500 for two seats in the front row on the southeast side of the stadium.

Miami would also do open practices for its season ticket holders and other special events where you could meet the players.

They didn’t always perform the best back then, but games were fun and you really felt connected to the team.

➡️ Inter Miami Ticket Price After Messi

Inter Miami ticket price options went way up after Messi joined the team.

With news of Messi’s arrival to Inter Miami in July of 2023, preparations for 2024 season tickets began and I got to see how much of an increase Miami was going to charge to see Messi.

My same exact two seats that previously cost about $500, were now going to cost over $3,000. That’s an 600% increase in ticket price!

A part of me thought it might actually be even higher than that, but $3,000 was still way too much for me.

🤑 Is It Always That Expensive To See Messi Play In Person?

The prices have gotten pretty ridiculous especially for away games.

Now that Messi has been at Inter Miami for a few years, the ticket price options in Miami are actually pretty decent since the craze has settled down a little and most get to see him play every week.

Last month I went down to Miami to watch Messi (since a few of my previous attempts to watch him play with Inter Miami failed), and I only paid $40 per ticket to sit in the front row on the north side of the field.

➡️ One trick to get even better ticket prices is to search for the seats you want on Ticketmaster, but call Inter Miami to purchase the tickets (they can’t be resale they have to be sold by Inter Miami) because they won’t charge any of the fees that Ticketmaster does

Outside of Miami, ticket price options are still pretty ridiculous whenever Inter Miami travels. I tried to go to the Inter Miami vs Orlando game in Orlando and even tickets sold by Orlando (not resale) in higher sections were over $180 each.

It was cheaper for me (although a little less convenient) to just go to a game down in Miami than try to see Messi play anywhere else.

😔 Complications Trying To Watch Messi Play In Person

The away ticket price for Inter Miami is pretty ridiculous nowadays and it really sucks if Messi doesn't play.

The most difficult and anxiety-inducing thing when trying to plan a trip centered around a football/soccer game and more specifically a player, is not knowing if things will work out perfectly when you have to plan in advance.

A few years ago I got expensive front row tickets to go to a Leagues Cup game (pictured above) with Inter Miami vs Tigres in Houston, Texas specifically to see Messi, but unfortunately he got injured and didn’t even come.

I did get to see Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets before they retired, but it was a huge bummer and financial stress to pay that much to not see Messi.

No matter what, it's worth it when you do get to watch Messi play right there in front of you.

When things work out and you do get to see Messi play, it’s amazing, but it can be super stressful (at least for me) leading up to the game you plan on attending.

If it’s possible for you, I definitely suggest going to Miami to see a game since ticket price options are so much better than when Inter Miami travels, of course you’ll then have travel expenses, but Miami is an awesome place to visit anyways.

If you’re already in Miami but don’t have tickets to a game, I also suggest looking for resale tickets day of because they often drop in price and you should have a better idea whether or not Messi will play, although this could run the risk of having the game be sold out.

🔁 Sum Up: Inter Miami Ticket Price

After Messi arrived at Inter Miami, ticket price options went way up (like a 600% increase for season tickets at least), but even though away games still charge an insane amount to get a chance to watch him play, things settled down a little in Miami so you can actually find some reasonably priced tickets straight from the club or even from resellers. Either way, it’s totally worth it to watch Messi play in person, especailly since we’re all running out of time to watch the greatest player to have ever played the game.
