Review Of The Dallas, Texas Cowboys AT&T Stadium Tour
Looking For More Info Or A Detailed Review On The Cowboys AT&T Stadium Tour In Dallas, Texas?
I lived in Dallas for 3+ years, plus have long family ties to this north Texas region and its NFL team, so I had to tour the AT&T stadium with my Dad (a lifelong Cowboys fan), although I was most excited about playing out on the actual Cowboys field.
While I think Cowboys fans will find this tour an awesome addition to their bucket list, non-football/Cowboys fans might find it a bit boring and not worth the price, but here’s my personal review to help you decide for yourself.
๐ The Different AT&T Stadium Tour Options

From all the questions I encountered on the internet, it seems that many were surprised to find out that you can indeed tour the Cowboys AT&T stadium in Dallas, Texas and that there are actually multiple tour options available depending on the day and interest.
Currently the Dallas Cowboys stadium has six different tour options available on select days including the Rally Days tour, the VIP Guided tour, the Owner’s Experience tour, the Self Guided tour, an Educational tour, and an Art tour.
My family opted for the VIP Guided tour so this review of the Cowboys AT&T stadium in Dallas, Texas will focus on this tour option.
๐ The Cowboys AT&T Stadium Tour Experience In Dallas, Texas

We arrived early to the Pro Shop to make sure we didn’t miss anything and to look around (we found a clearance rack on the second floor with some good deals on Cowboys shirts, but everything else was pretty expensive).
After joining with a group of about 15 (mostly visitors to Texas), we started our VIP tour with our very knowledgeable guide and went through the Main Club, a private suite, the press box, both locker rooms (the Cowboys and the Cheerleaders), and a few other areas of the AT&T stadium.

Our guide was great and had an answer for just about every question anyone asked, plus he was super helpful and encouraging on the final part of the tour.
Our last stop was what I was personally most excited about, the field. We went through the tunnel out onto the field and were allowed to spend as much time as we wanted passing the football around, scoring touchdowns, and even kicking field goals.
We made friends with a guy on our tour from England that knew nothing about American football, but even he had a great time learning about this important piece of Texas culture, so you don’t have to be a Cowboys fan to enjoy touring the AT&T stadium, though it definitely helps to understand and appreciate all that the guide talks about.
๐ค Cowboys AT&T Stadium Tour Cost

While each tour of the Cowboys AT&T stadium in Dallas, Texas has a different cost, the price of the VIP Guided tour wasn’t too bad (around $40-45 per person).
When you go to buy tickets for the Cowboys stadium tour on the official AT&T Stadium website, make sure you check the field and locker room availability page to make sure the day you choose has full access (I’d also recommend calling to triple check since the field is the best part in my opinion).
Another thing to note is that the stadium tour tickets are non-refundable, but the Cowboys AT&T stadium is completely indoors so at least Texas weather won’t disrupt the tour.

Cowboys Stadium Bag Policy For The Tour
Each AT&T Cowboys Stadium tour option may have a different bag policy, but for the VIP Guided tour, regular bags and purses are allowed in (though they are subject to search upon entering this Texas stadium).
AT&T Stadium Tour Parking
Unlike game day parking prices (which are typically around $100 and no less than $80, including Uber rides), stadium tour parking, outside of Rally Days, is included in the price of the tour ticket.
Since the tour begins next to the Pro Shop, I recommend putting that into Maps and parking in either the Blue 1 lot or the Blue 2 lot just in front of the Pro Shop.

The AT&T Cowboys VIP Guided tour lasts about an hour and a half, but it can take longer if you spend more time on the field playing around and taking pictures of this Texas stadium.
